Cedar Park Med is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide care to patients under the supervision of an RN or LPN. The CNA will assist patients with daily living activities, maintain a clean and safe environment, and ensure personal care and comfort.
16 weeks contract with possibilities for extension. All shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect.
- Monitor residents' condition and report changes to nursing staff.
- Support end-of-life care and maintain comfort for hospice residents.
- Follow care plans, assist with meals, and ensure resident safety during transfers.
- Maintain infection control standards and answer call bells promptly.
- Ensure resident belongings are properly cared for and report any incidents or missing items.
Professional Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current CNA certification in New York.
