Cedar Park Med is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for immediate full-time openings in a long-term care (LTC) nursing home in Montrose, NY.
This is a long-term assignment offering consistent scheduling and a supportive clinical environment, with strong on-the-ground support from our team. Start ASAP.
Shift / Schedule
- Evening: 3:00pm – 11:30pm
- Night: 11:00pm – 7:30am
- Full-time (weekend rotations included)
- Long-term assignment
- Temp to perm available
Position Overview
In this LTC setting, the CNA provides hands-on resident care focused on safety, comfort, and dignity. This role requires attentiveness, strong communication, and the ability to work effectively within a structured nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment
- Document care provided in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Current NY CNA certification
- Minimum 6 months of LTC experience
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start
- Compassionate, resident-focused care approach
- Reliable attendance in a structured care environment
- Comfortable with weekend rotations
