Cedar Park Group is seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman for a commercial housing project in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of carpentry experience, including finish carpentry, tile installation, plumbing, and basic electrical work. The Carpenter Foreman will lead a crew and ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of workers on-site.
- Perform and oversee finish carpentry, tile installation, bath fixture installations, and cabinetry.
- Handle basic electrical and plumbing tasks as needed.
- Coordinate with the General Contractor and site supervisors to maintain project timelines.
- Ensure all work is done according to safety regulations and project specifications.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in carpentry, with a focus on finish carpentry, tile installation, cabinetry, plumbing, bath fixtures and electrical.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- OSHA 10 Certification required.
- Ability to read blueprints and ensure project accuracy and quality.
