Cedar Park Med is hiring for Registered Nurses (different levels of duty):
RN - Entry Level
RN - Advanced Level - specialty area of nursing with charge/supervisory responsibilities (RNC-A level of duty).
RN - Manager - RNC-B level duty.
Immediate openings at the Depart of Corrections in VA's Western, Central, and Eastern Regions.
General Responsibilities:
- Providing professional nursing care and treatment to patients by conducting needs assessments, developing, implementing and evaluating treatment plans and providing patient care and education through case management.
- Applying knowledge of principles and practices of practical nursing and pharmacology acquired through formal education and training
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- CPR certification
- Current PPD test and other applicable vaccines
- Previous work within a correctional facility is preferred
