Cedar Park Med is seeking to hire school nurses (RNs and LPNs) for immediate openings.
No special certifications needed. Pre k-21year olds in a dorm style campus.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provide basic healthcare to students in case of injury or acute illness
- Direct treatment, evaluations, screenings, consultations with all professionals involved in the student's educational program
- Group treatments, attendance at CSE meetings and annual reviews
- Ensure compliance with national and local health laws
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience
- Valid RN or LPN license
- BLS
- G-tube feeding experience preferred (but will train if needed)
- Experience with medications, first aid, emotional distress
- Snap experience
1) Extended School Year (ESY) RN or LPN
Shift: Sun-Thu 3:00pm to 11:00pm
2) Fall School Year 24-25 (evening shift)
Shift: Mon-Thu 3pm-10pm / Sunday 4pm-10pm
During the weekend activities hours are 3pm to 11pm.
