Cedar Park Med is seeking a LPN Transport Nurse.
Are you a compassionate and reliable LPN looking for part-time work with a meaningful impact? We’re seeking an LPN to provide 1:1 transportation care for a 2nd-grade student. This split-shift position involves meeting the student at school in the morning and afternoon, ensuring their safety and well-being during their commute. Shift: Mornings (7:30 AM - 8:15 AM) & Afternoons (3:00 PM - 3:45 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet the driver at the school each morning.
- Safely transport the student to school in the morning and back home in the afternoon.
- Ensure the student’s well-being during transport, providing any necessary care
- Collaborate with school staff and the student’s family to address health concerns or emergencies.
- Maintain clear, accurate health records and communicate effectively with all involved parties.
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in New York State.
- Experience working with children, especially those with developmental delays and/or epilepsy, is a plus.
- Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to health-related emergencies.
- Compassionate, responsible, and reliable with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a safe, supportive environment for the student.
