Cedar Park Group is looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC Commercial Service Technician for an immediate opening. If you have strong technical skills, hands-on experience with HVAC systems, and a commitment to maintaining safe and efficient operations, we want to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of HVAC experience
  • Experience installing commercial furnaces, rooftop units, chillers, boilers, hot water tanks, and sweat copper pipes
  • Ability to service backup generators
  • Skilled in servicing temperature and humidity controls, air compressors, and high-pressure hot water systems
  • Experience servicing refrigeration units (large and small)
  • Experience with servicing and troubleshooting rooftop units
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices
  • Ability to clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems
  • Must have own tools (electric testers, wrenches, screwdrivers in a tool belt or toolbox)
  • OSHA 10 certification required
  • EPA certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

HVAC System Maintenance & Repairs

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on chillers, boilers, air handling units, and related equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues, making necessary repairs or replacing components
  • Ensure all HVAC systems operate in compliance with regulations, health codes, and safety standards

Temperature & Air Quality Control

  • Monitor and adjust temperature settings and air quality conditions in different facility areas
  • Calibrate thermostats, sensors, and control systems to maintain proper ventilation and airflow

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate service records for all work performed, including inspections, maintenance schedules, and repairs

Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills – Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems and related components
Industry Knowledge – Strong understanding of air filtration, temperature, and humidity control standards, particularly in healthcare and large facility settings
Problem-Solving – Ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues under time-sensitive conditions
Attention to Detail – Ensure proper installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in compliance with regulations and industry best practices

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined or elevated spaces
  • Comfortable working in varied environmental conditions, including high noise levels and fluctuating temperatures

Work Schedule: hours/days are varied can include nights and weekends.
