We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our construction projects. This is a key leadership role that ensures financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic planning to support the company’s ongoing success in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Manage job cost accounting, unit price billing, and certified payroll processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory standards
Analyze financial data to support strategic planning and decision-making
Supervise accounting staff and collaborate with project managers on cost control and budget tracking
Maintain internal controls and continuously improve financial processes
Utilize financial software such as SAP to streamline accounting operations and generate accurate reports
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of experience in construction accounting or financial management
Strong understanding of construction accounting principles, including certified payroll and unit price billing
Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP)
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to lead financial operations in a fast-paced construction environment
